Agyness Deyn Falls Twice During Haiti Relief Show

Agyness Deyn Agyness Deyn Agyness Deyn takes a tumble while walking the runway at fellow model Naomi Campbell’s Fashion For Relief Haiti event during Mercedes-Benz NY Fashion Week at Bryant Park’s The Tent on Friday, February 12.

The 26-year-old British model lost balance while strutting the catwalk in Burberry platform shoes, which have 7″ heels. Like a trooper, she got right back up and did a curtsey… only to fall again. Finally, Aggy took her shoes off and walked barefoot for the rest of the runway.

Agyness Deyn Hours after the incident, Aggy tweeted, “1st show of fashion week! Took a tumble! Got up! Fell again. Should have stayed down the 1st time. Twice! WTF! Ouch my knees!”

During the show, Aggy was also seen walking the catwalk in a red hot creation from The Blonds. (Rihanna wore a very similar dress last November.)

Robert Pattinson: Emilie de Ravin is Quite Charismatic

Robert Pattinson and Emilie De Ravin Robert Pattinson smiles sweetly down as Emilie de Ravin in this new still from their upcoming romantic drama, Remember Me.

The 23-year-old star dished on his on-screen love interest to ET, passing along many compliments to the 28-year-old Aussie actress.

Rob shared, “I was shooting the end New Moon in Italy and we were going through casting for [Remember Me]. The director said, ‘I think I found this girl I think you’ll find quite interesting,’ and sent me this e-mail with her audition tape. My Internet connection was so slow that I could only get the beginning, which was her messing up for about 35 seconds. She was really funny, you know, messing up and kind of quite charismatic — but I didn’t know that she was messing up at the time, I thought she was actually doing the scene and kind of just improvising with it and just making it up.”

Remember Me hits theaters on Friday, March 12.

Metrosexual, an investment

Metrosexualo Is it ‘gayish’ for a man to spend extra time and money to take care of himself instead of getting drunk every night?

Today ‘metrosexual’ is like an investment. CHECK OUT THIS WEBSITE, www.metrosexualo.com.

At first I thought, “Does anyone still use the word ’metrosexual’?” Then I saw there was an “O” at the end. I checked it out; oh, a shopping website. I was immediately hooked.

One easily notices the photography in the site—simple, sleek and clean but also sophisticated, the pictures enticing you to consider buying merchandise. Also, the price points are not even that expensive.

But this isn’t just a shopping website. It also prods a guy on—that he can style himself. June Lee, a model and one of the people behind Metrosexualo, says the site believes that “How you wear it is more important than what to wear.”

The emphasis is on proper styling—simple, effortless but still impactful, rather than just wearing brands, from head to toe.

Here’s Lee talking:

How did it all start?

I love clothes and I spend plenty of hours with my buddy searching for styles we like. At a certain point, we realized spending time and money just for brand names won’t help us much in developing our own style. The important lesson we learned is “How to wear is more important than what to wear.”

This is the reason we decided to launch a brand that’s affordable and practical yet stylish, with superior quality and design. Truly to give one a good bargain. We want to share our knowledge with people all over. I believe a lot of men feel the same way as we do.

Metrosexualo Why “metrosexualo”? What’s with the “O”?

David Beckham won the El Hombre Metrosexualo Award in Spain. He’s the global icon of metrosexuality, so we adopted the name.

What can you tell a guy who thinks being a metrosexual is ‘gay’?

We understand that the term metrosexual still needs to be used with care, as some men do not like to be labeled that. Is it gayish for a man to spend extra time and money to take care of himself instead of getting drunk every night? No.

Today the word “metrosexual” is not just a word used to describe a man. It is a lifestyle that is celebrated by both sexes. It’s like an investment.

As good food makes a healthy man, good investments and care makes a man look clean and proud of his appearance, which then boosts his self-esteem. Successful men dress like successful men.

Metrosexualo Have you always been into clothes?

Not really. I was more into music, especially heavy metal and hardcore music, believe it or not. I used to play drums in a band. I accidentally fell in love with clothes and fashion when I fell for a hot girl I used to go out with. I was dying to look better for her.

How do you decide what to wear on a given day?

This is the most important rule I always follow when I dress myself up: Your style must be naturally suited to the event you’re attending. Whether you dress for a job interview or a date, there is always an aim you should achieve. Go for the style that can achieve your goal.

Describe your style.

Basically, masculine, practical yet elegant. But adaptable to any style. It absolutely depends on the occasion.

What are the five key things every guy should have?

A decently muscular build, a good hairstyle, that certain glow in your eyes, good posture and a pair of blue jeans that can add true panache to your figure and make you proud.

Who’s your style inspiration?

My dad. He used to work for the government and always dressed up in well-coordinated colors, patterns and accessories. I was so proud of holding my dad’s hands while walking on the street when I was little.

What is your favorite get-up?

A clean slim-cut shirt or a muscle tee and my favorite blue jeans.

Do you have any mentors?

Mentors are everywhere. I love listening to what people have to say.

What’s the most popular thing people purchase in your website?

There is no particular thing, though sometimes it’s difficult to fulfill all of our customers’ preferences since our market is global. We just try to cater to a lot of different styles.

Metrosexualo How do you see men’s fashion now?

As far as we know, fashion is a cycle. It isn’t just the change from one trend to the other; there is also repetition.

Every year, we encounter distinguished and innovative designs. But even if they have powerful and captivating looks, they vanish if they can’t grab with popular appeal.

Fashion is a self-developing process in which you find your own personal style, and that involves accentuating your strengths and minimizing weaknesses—or, at least, their appearance—based on a timeless, classic and legitimate format. It also has a look that can be embraced by the majority of people.

What’s the one fashion rule men should know?

Know how to take care of your clothes properly, and how extend the life span of your garments.
